Damsteegt from Oud-Alblas also chooses MGM attachments

Damsteegt from Oud-Alblas has once again chosen the quality and reliability of MGM attachments. Within a short period of time, we supplied no fewer than three machines, which were put to work immediately.

On 8 April, we delivered an MGM GCB65.2 HP crusher bucket, intended for use on a heavy wheeled excavator and a medium-sized tracked excavator.

Powerful crusher bucket with a unique drive system

The MGM GCB65.2 HP stands out thanks to several unique features. MGM is the only brand worldwide to supply a jaw crusher bucket with a chain drive operating in a sealed grease bath. This construction ensures optimal lubrication, reduced wear and a significantly longer service life of the drive system.

In addition, the crusher bucket is equipped with the MGM Valve technology developed by Gerlasco. This pressure relief valve protects the machine against incorrectly connected hydraulic hoses and makes it possible to operate the crusher bucket using just two hydraulic hoses.

This makes coupling easier, reduces the risk of malfunctions and increases operational reliability.

Two new star screening buckets

Two more deliveries followed on 2 July. Damsteegt put an MGM VS2-95 star screening bucket into operation for excavators weighing 6 to 10 tonnes, as well as an MGM VM3-135 star screening bucket with a 25 mm SX rotor for tracked excavators weighing 16 to 23 tonnes.

The VS2-95 has a bucket capacity of approximately 310 litres, while the VM3-135 offers a generous bucket capacity of approximately 1,100 litres. This gives Damsteegt suitable capacity for both compact and larger excavators.

Both screening buckets are also equipped with MGM Valve technology. As a result, they benefit from a simple two-hose hydraulic connection, protection against incorrect connection and reliable operation under demanding conditions.

Quickly switching between rotors

Both screening buckets are also equipped with the newly developed MGM Rotor Quick-Change system. This allows the rotor to be changed quickly and easily, enabling the machine to be adapted to a different screening fraction or application in a short amount of time.

This increases flexibility on site and helps keep downtime to a minimum.

A complete package for crushing and screening

With these investments, Damsteegt now has a complete range of high-quality MGM attachments for both crushing and screening a wide variety of materials.
