Winkel Infra BV separates sand from bentonite and piling debris with a new MGM VM3-135 star screening bucket

On Monday 13 July 2026, we delivered a new MGM VM3-135 star screening bucket to Winkel Infra BV from Zuidschermer. The delivery took place directly at the project site next to the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam. After a brief instruction, the operator was able to put the screening bucket to work immediately.

Efficient coupling and flexible operation

The MGM VM3-135 is equipped with an SX25 mm rotor and features the innovative MGM Valve technology. As a result, only two hydraulic hoses are required. This makes coupling faster and easier, while also reducing the risk of malfunctions.

The screening bucket is also fitted with a CW30 dual-sided head plate, allowing it to be coupled from either side. This gives the operator greater flexibility during operation.

High capacity with moist and sticky material

The integrated cleaning combs keep the rotors clean during operation and prevent material from building up between the rotor blades. This allows the MGM VM3-135 to maintain a high screening capacity, even when processing moist and sticky soil.

Separating sand, bentonite and piling debris on site

On this project, sand released during piling operations is being screened. This sand contains materials including bentonite and piling debris. The MGM VM3-135 separates these materials efficiently, allowing the cleaned sand to be reused directly on the project.

This reduces transport movements and disposal costs, while enabling valuable raw materials to be reused.
