Thijs Kerkvliet Hoveniers chooses the MGM VS2-50 for efficient screening of wet compost

For his 2-tonne New Holland mini excavator with a CW05 connection, Thijs Kerkvliet Hoveniers was looking for a compact yet powerful screening bucket. He chose the MGM VS2-50, equipped with an SX20 mm rotor.

Efficient screening in wet conditions

The deciding factor was the ability to process wet soil and compost efficiently. The compost was extremely moist during the work, but despite these challenging conditions, the screening bucket achieved a capacity of approximately 5 m³ per hour.

This demonstrates that the MGM VS2-50, despite its compact size, can deliver excellent performance with material that is normally difficult to process.

Quickly profitable in practice

Thijs put his new MGM VS2-50 into operation on 14 March. With approximately two working days per month, the investment already proved profitable for him.

The combination of compact construction, high capacity and broad versatility makes this screening bucket particularly suitable for landscapers, nurseries, composting companies and contractors.

This practical experience shows that the MGM VS2-50 also delivers excellent performance when combined with a compact 2-tonne mini excavator. The result is a versatile and cost-effective screening solution for work in locations where space, weight and manoeuvrability play an important role.
